Our fruit and base wines come from Cape vineyards whose reputations are already established. Old vines, cooler slopes, thoughtful viticulture – these are our starting points, not our marketing claims.
We select only parcels that fit the Talangi profile: structure, longevity, clarity of flavour and the potential to carry a narrative greater than themselves.

Talangi respects the craft of our partner winemakers. We do not arrive with ego; we arrive with a very specific vision of the wines we wish to bring into the Private Cellar.
Blending sessions are a dialogue. We taste, adjust, retaste, set samples aside and return with fresh eyes. The final Talangi expression is always built on a foundation of mutual respect.

Sulphur is a natural part of fine-wine production, but we believe that careful handling and restraint can protect both purity of flavour and how one feels the next day.
Talangi wines are produced under a low-sulphur regime supported by rigorous hygiene, temperature control and oxygen management. The aim is not to chase a trend, but to craft wines that are alive, stable and gentle on the system when enjoyed in moderation.
